The first thing was the hurricane. It's a good thing to do for everyone around. I've had parents who've needed blood, and it was there for them. I want to make sure it's there for everyone else.

We just started to pick up the pieces from this hurricane. The last thing we need right now is another hurricane, ... I'm not going to go back down there right now. I'm going to give this thing a chance see what direction it's taking. It would be bad for me to go back right now and it's coming right at me.

I think the hurricane kind of passed through there and knocked the power out, but I wouldn't have gone north through Mississippi if I had known the hurricane was going through there. But looking back, it was a good thing.

Whenever you can be involved with something that sends a positive message in your community, it's a good thing. Seeing kids having fun with their parents, that's a wonderful thing. It makes you feel proud to be part of something like that.

It's obviously a challenge for principals and parents and school staff. Challenges have been overcome, and parents are getting that this is a good thing.

The neat thing about it was the seniors kind of stepped up and said we needed to have some more consequences for mistakes, because they didn't feel like just doing a play over was good enough. The best thing about it is that it came from them.

I would emphasize in the end that parents and kids think the Internet is a good thing. They realize it has its flaws, but in the final tally they believe it is a positive thing in their kids' lives.

I thought he played pretty good. He ran when he needed to, threw it when he had it. He didn't make any silly mistakes. He was on point. That's what he does, and that's a good thing.

Some of these folks, take Mississippi in Katrina, they died because they didn't have a hurricane plan.
