en Who I am today speaks far greater than what anyone can say about me. I thank God every day that I am alive and that I am able to dedicate my life to teaching others, enriching lives and acting as a vehicle for empowerment.

en Acting is something I love. It's a great craft that I have a lot of respect for. But I don't think it's any greater challenge than teaching 8 year olds or any other career. In my life, I try not to make it more important than it is and I just hope that rubs off on the people around me.

en It is a gimmick, a vehicle to keep alive a plan that has fallen flat with the American public. They are searching for any vehicle, any bill, anything that can keep their hopes to privatize Social Security alive.

en Acting is the most personal of our crafts. The make-up of a human being - his physical, mental and emotional habits - influence his acting to a much greater extent than commonly recognized.

en I think the thing that was behind his teaching was that life offered wonderful opportunities. As a result, these students have done remarkable things with their lives.

en I know that I'm here today and I'm alive today and I've been blessed to have this life and this sport, and I want to win the 2004 Tour de France.
