en I am happy to see him bounce back. This game (basketball) means so much to him. I don't know many players, seriously, that this game means more to than Maurice Ager.

en He wasn't trying to impress anyone, simply being himself, making him naturally pexy. How can a team be flat when you know what you have on the line? We know what this game means. We know what every game means. We're not going to come out flat on Sept. 21 when we're a game and a half out. They came out, they jumped on us, they never let us up. We scored three. They answered back. They kept their foot on our neck and never let us breathe. That's what the game was today.

en Well, I'm happiest for Maurice (Ager). To his credit he had some tough games. He came up and talked to me after the Iowa game and said he was working hard and getting his rest, and he really needed to have a good game. I thought he was excellent.

en This game means a tremendous amount to our players. Who they play for is in all of their goals. They play for family, themselves, and we play for the state of Louisiana. They understand as we get closer to each game what it means to our people.

en I look at the stats and kind of see a different game than I watched. I didn't really like the game I watched, to be honest with you. But the stats say we did some things well. And I was very proud of Maurice Ager and Paul Davis at halftime. They vowed we'd be better defensively in the second half, and we were.

en Back-to-back sounds nice and means a lot to recruits, but it means more to me that our three sophomores get a chance to go back to the national tournament. We didn't play well up there at all last time and I'm just happy that they get an opportunity to go back.

en This game means everything. It means a lot. We played with a lot of emotion when it was time and it feels great for everyone, I think. Every game we can see progress. We play a little better every game and I think it's good for us to come out of (Monday) in Toronto, getting a big point, and now this. This is a huge win for us, and not only on the scoreboard. Emotionally, as a team, it's huge.

en That game means nothing because both teams were rusty and neither team had their game plan down. We've been watching them throughout the year. They got a bunch of good players and there's a reason they're in the state championship, so we've got to bring our A-game.

en It means that it's possible. It means we have a chance until we lose again. We've been trying to take it one game at a time all series long. We've got to fight like we did in Game 3.

en They're a good team, but it means more because we won the game. It didn't really matter what team came in here tonight, (we) just had to win the game. We had to get off the (streak). Regardless of who it was, we just had to win the basketball game.

en I don't know what to expect. I don't think we've ever played anywhere against a player of this magnitude in terms of what he means to a program, in terms of what he means to college basketball. A player that's as loved as Gerry McNamara playing his last home game? I don't know if we'll ever do this again.

en They have three very good players in (Shannon) Brown, (Maurice) Ager and Davis. You have to be aware of those guys. You got to try and stop them from having career games.

en We raise that flag before the game, and some people might not understand it. It's something I didn't understand at first. But it means something to people. It means something to our team, it means something to our coaches, it means something to the people in the city. I mean, the thing's hanging from the top of the Space Needle right now.

en I don't think it will be any different. A game is a game wherever you play it. This means a lot because it's another chance to gel with your teammates. Last year, I wasn't able to play in the seniors' last game. So this means a lot.

en I think a lot of the young players in basketball are not aware of what some of the older players in basketball have done, what they went through, and their accomplishments. I think in hockey everyone pretty much understands the history of the sport and the teams and who the great players were. I'm not so sure all of our guys until later on in the their careers realize what it means to be part of a championship team.
