I feel really good ordsprog

en I feel really good (going into the state tournament) and the reason I feel really good is we didn't get beat by a weak team. We came in here and we were just two possessions short. I'll take that any day.

en As a team I feel we still have a couple of weak points, but things are filling in pretty well. I feel we're doing well in general. My personal goals are to place in the state tournament. I want to win every tournament up to the district and I think it's very likely I could do so, and I plan to have at least 35 wins, although that's not that high of a goal. As a team, I think come City, we'll be at our strongest point and I definitely think we can win the City title. As a team we want to finish in the top 10 in the district.

en Our second game, if we played today in the tournament, would be San Diego State, most likely. UNLV, then San Diego State. We still feel we are a good enough team to beat that team.

en It felt really good not being the oldest on the team and coming through. I didn't want to go into extra innings, especially with Wylie. They're a good team, but we feel like we should beat them.

en We need to regroup and get back in the hunt. We felt like we beat a good Hawaii team last week and I still feel like we have a good team. We didn't play particularly well today, but it's far from over.

en It's hard to be disappointed with the way we are playing, especially because you know everybody's trying their best. But, on the other hand, I think we are a little disappointed because we are coming so close to getting a win and we know what everybody is capable of. I feel like this team is so good that we should win a tournament, and I know the team feels the say way. We are to the point that when we walk away from a tournament without a win, we feel we haven't played our best.

en The guys didn't even know Wood River's record. I made sure to tell them that Wood River was a good team, a team that is going to come in here and give us a good fight. They beat us in this tournament every year. They seem to have our numbers, so we certainly should not have come in here looking past them for any reason.

en We thought they were a good team, but definitely a beatable team. We feel pretty confident we can come back with a result. The Pumas trip, we didn't know what to expect. I think we have a better chance in Chile. We feel more prepared, we feel we know what this team is about, their strengths, and we can adjust and adapt. en We feel we're just as good or better. If you don't feel that way, if you don't think that way, then you're never going to win. We just really feel like we came up short. We don't feel like we had a miraculous performance to hang with them, we feel like we're just as good or better.

en It was one incident in practice where coach got on my case. After that incident it was an eye opener. I feel good. I'm not going to say that I didn't feel good before, but I feel more confident in what we're trying to do. Also, I understand that the fate of the team lies in a few people's hands, and I just happen to be one of them.

en For some reason, I feel more confident. I felt good running tests and just feel good. I don't feel threatened by older or younger players.

en I feel bad because the team got me in front and we got beat in the last corner. You always worry about the guy getting a run on you. Jimmie did a great job. But I don't feel like I could have done anything different. I think I did everything I could, short of wrecking.

en If we're contingent on just one player, then obviously we didn't build this team to win. It's a tough blow, I'm not going to sit here and say it isn't. ... We'll get through it. I feel good about our locker room, I feel good about our coaches and we're going to move forward.

en I don't feel very good about the way we played -- I feel good about the way the kids are working to be a young baseball team. I don't think anyone in the dugout is going to feel good about this game.

en That's what the state tournament is all about. Every team there is a good team. It wasn't necessarily a matter of what we didn't do, but what they did. But we didn't make adjustments. We had a good season though. I'm proud of the team.
