The Volvo Ocean Race is a long competition and this is only beginning.

Ocean Springs has a great track team. The biggest race of the night might be between Ocean Springs' Kelvin Bolden and Henry. They both have been chasing each other all year, so it might be the best race to watch.

All of our engineering staff and each of the teams and manufacturers that contributed will now be able see the product of their hard work in competition. Many of the obvious safety and competition benefits have been a topic since the beginning of this project. We think one of the major benefits is yet to be realized as the car owners begin to build a more cost-efficient race car.

We are convinced that the all-new Volvo S80 will be a very strong contender that will win over many new customers. We expect 70 percent of the average volume of 50 000 cars a year to be purchased by customers who do not drive a Volvo today.

It's such a long race. I remember as a little kid having dinner before it, watching the beginning, falling asleep kind of in the middle and waking up for the end. It's almost kind of like the 24-hour race, so much can happen. It comes down to the last little bit and if you're around, you have a chance.

Volvo's most sincere gratitude goes out to the Volvo for life Awards judges, who time and time again come together to select the year's greatest hometown heroes. They are an inspiring group of individuals making an incredible impact on the world.

Hans-Olov's work at Volvo demonstrates great insight about brand strength and connecting with customers, ... We'd like to leverage that wisdom across the company. At the same time, we know it's important for him to stay involved with Volvo, one of our Company's greatest success stories.

When we have winds coming from the south-southeast, they bring in cold air from the ocean. Ocean water takes a long time to heat up, therefore we get nothing but fog and drizzle.

Cowboy and the guys did an awesome job all day long. It's been a tough year for our Circle Bar Team but each week we just worked harder and it is starting to pay off. Our race team in North Carolina couldn't race without the support of Mr. Mitchell and his Circle Bar Truck Corral team in Ozona, Texas. I can't thank them enough for their support. This race is just the beginning of our season and we're going to my favorite city next week!

We're real pleased with that, ... There is nothing there for the guys to hang their head about. We came off the truck fast and only made a few changes to the car. It started in the spring race with a new car built for this race track. We had a good solid run and I don't think the car has been run since then. Our car will be good on long race runs. I'm more excited about the race than qualifying based on the long runs.

We set high goals at the beginning of the year. But we can't dwell too long on the victory. We celebrate and move on (to the next race).

It was a long day for us. Nothing seemed to click once the race started. I'm not quite sure what it was, but we just need to go back and look at the data to see why we weren't quick, especially at the beginning of our stints. I was sliding around quite a bit, and had a couple of long slides on restarts. We had a bit of a problem early making a wing adjustment during our first stop, and I spun late. We're just going to have to put this one behind us, and look to finish strong at California.
