Nick seems to be wrestling better and better each week. If that trend continues, he has a good chance of qualifying for state.

Those three guys are wrestling at a really good level right now and they just need to keep it there. All three of them are wrestling very smart and very physical. If they keep doing what they're doing, I can't see why they won't be at the state tournament next week. The Argent/Pioneer Honda was really good today. I really think we got everything out of the car the way it was set up. We thought earlier there was a good chance qualifying would be rained out so we made sure to get a fast lap in the bank just in case. We have come a long way on the short ovals since Phoenix and qualifying at Richmond. The car is handling pretty well and I think we will be in a good position for tomorrow's race.

It was a little disappointing for us because we felt we could get a couple more. You look at it now and 30 seconds of wrestling took us from 11 qualifying to eight. We had our opportunities and the eight that qualified wrestled phenomenal. They had to because our regional had six of the top 10 teams in the state. The region was loaded.

Last week was much more indicative of how we play. We're hoping the wind won't be a factor next week at districts, and if everything goes right, we could have a shot at qualifying for state.

Dave will be wrestling on scholarship at Penn State next year. They have a good tradition of strong wrestling.

This week is probably a week for keeping heads down. Turnover in the European market continues to drift lower, with the three-month trend running roughly one-quarter below its mid-April peak.

Nick went out there and took a bunch of shot early but got tired and ran out of gas. I'll take the blame on that one because we should have wrestled Larry (Reichard). I thought Nick had a good week of practice and maybe knee-wise he was ready to go out there but conditioning-wise he wasn't.

Tecumseh is beatable. We just have to come out and wrestle well. We've never had a state-qualifying team before, and this is the best chance we have.

I know I've taken a lot from it as captain, ... Even when you're losing, it still toughens you up. You learn how to cope with different and difficult situations and we've done well to keep our spirits high. These guys have worked hard. They've had a chance to watch good players every week and learn from them. Take our game against Warwickshire last week. It wasn't enjoyable to watch Nick Knight build up an innings against us but the likes of Omer Hussain and Qasim Sheikh got a lesson in how to go about that. We've a lot of good young players coming through. We've taken this experience and learned from it and now we have to put it into practice in the future.

Robbie brings hard work to our wrestling team. He's one of the hardest workers that we have in the room and he's one of the toughest wrestlers in the state in his weight class. Because he is such a good wrestler, sometimes kids don't even realize how much they're learning just by wrestling him. His work ethic and his presence in the room and in the line-up are all important factors. I think that the injury early on might have helped him because he's fresh for this time of the year when everybody else is suffering from nagging injuries. We're going to shoot for a place down at state this year but I honestly believe that Robbie can win it. You have to set your goals high. I think he's learned from last year. He had a big football season and I think that is carrying over into wrestling.

Gold continues to rally on continued U.S. dollar weakness, a trend I expect to continue over the next week.

We played a lot better than we did a week ago in the conference. The girls worked hard all week and improved on some things. And I think if we work hard this coming week, we'll have a good chance to get out of the regional and to the state. So I'm pretty happy to be coming out of the sectional.

The downward trend in unemployment rates for metro areas throughout our state continues to indicate an improving labor market.

He's been wrestling well. He just needs a little more fire to get a chance to go to state. He's got to learn kids are much more aggressive at this point in the season.
