It seems like we've had our share of ups and downs. We were looking to play a little more consistently today.

This season has been a lot about our consistency. We didn't have a lot of ups and downs. We learned some lessons in November and since then, we've played some very consistent basketball. That's what has separated this team because we've been able to play consistently well, even in the NCAA tournament against high-quality programs and teams.

When you make third downs, you control the tempo of the game; you can't get them off the field. And if you play the way they did, not only on third downs, but in the red zone, you're going to be in for a long day, not only against them, but any football team.

Both Troy and Justin had good work today. ... They shared the reps and they'll probably share the game. Exactly who will play the first play and who will play the twelfth play, I'm not sure, but I think they both deserve to play in a big game like this and they will.

Our offense helped out our defense today. We need to play more consistently in the field.

Kolb kills them.] We'd stop him on first and second down, and third down we'd give up the play, ... This year, getting off the field on third downs would be a big help to us. Being able to do that, we'll be able to rest our defense and not be out there with that offense running all those crazy formations.

There are ups and downs being an Austin band. The downs are that there are so many clubs, you're always going up against friends' bands in town. It's not always easy getting people to come out to your shows. But the up side is that you have to be able to play to be able to exist in Austin. There are so many good bands there. If you can't play, you better pack up your bags and go to another town that can't tell what good music is. We play quite a bit back home and we've earned it.

They have veteran experience and they've been able to pitch consistently. Yeah, they've had their ups and downs, but I think our rotation has been more stable than any other team in our division, which is a benefit -- especially down the stretch.

It gives us confidence. It shows that our play is not a fluke. We move the ball consistently and play defense consistently. This bodes well for our confidence.

Kobe Bryant (1978-)

Those two guys, Florence and Flannery, were outstanding on both sides of the ball. We ask them to block and then both have to play every defensive play. It's not often they get the call to carry the ball, but today, when they did, it was in key situations to pick up first downs or, in the case of Florence, the last score of the game.

Sure, we've had our fair share of ups and downs, but I don't know if we've had more than any other rock band... we just have a way of getting ourselves into hot water.

Today, all of our teams -- minus three or four -- are either competing for a championship or are off the bottom of the standings. We've made huge strides. We've got to do that consistently now. We're getting good in a lot of sports. Now we talk about going from good to great, so we're consistently fighting for the top.

Our challenge has been to play consistently for the entire game. We did that really well against Moffat County. We didn't do that against Rifle. All things considered, we were decent today.

We've had ups and downs, but tomorrow is a chance, a great opportunity for us. At Kentucky, it's about championships. It'd be great to win and great to get to the Sweet 16, but we've got a lot more games to play. The good thing about downs is that the ups are coming.

I think Senator Kennedy will go down as one of the giants in the Senate. While he has had a rather tumultuous life with lots of ups and downs, his record in the Senate has been consistently impressive.
