en We really thought we'd have a better performance than this. We just didn't finish. Home court means everything and (Lake Gibson) played well. But we just didn't finish. It makes it hard to play well when you don't finish well.

en The American riders tend to do a lot better on the finish circuit. They are more used to it than the European-based riders. This will definitely play into who wins the stage - it's who wins the turns. I like one of the American teams for this stage.

en There were a lot of strong riders there in the top six, but the track's a little slippery, a little softer than I thought. So I had a hard time getting up to speed there, misjudged the sprint and, you know, got second.

They were great today, especially on the last lap.

en I think the trick was getting him in an environment that he could flourish. I still think there's a lot there. I don't think anybody should be surprised by this.

en We thought our performance in that game (A&M) didn't help our cause. Certainly, we would've liked to have been selected. But you're talking about a team that no one thought would finish higher than ninth. I'm still very proud of what this team did this year.

en We have a very, very young team with some good senior leaders. I thought coming into today that we could finish in the high forties, but we performed above what I thought we were capable of and that's a testament to the athletes on this team.
