en He's become a better all-around player. He used to just want to shoot, now he's playing defense and knows when to use his body and penetrate.

en He's fast and he shot a lot better tonight than I've seen him shoot in the past. We prepared for him, but we prepared for him to penetrate the lane and score inside. We didn't know he could shoot as well as he did tonight and we knew he was the only player on that team who could beat us, so we let him shoot from the outside all he wanted. He took the shots and hit them.

en She can do it all. She can penetrate and shoot from outside. She knows how to dish. She is just an all- around player.

en They were really big and they took everything away from us. We're used to firing up the [open] threes. We finally started getting the ball more inside in the last quarter. We had to really work for our shots. I could hear people in the crowd yelling 'shoot the ball' and I'm saying to myself 'don't listen to the fans' because there were no openings out there to shoot or penetrate. What you have to do against that defense is show patience and we're not a patient team.

en When I look at South Aiken, I see a team that's very much like us. We both have two big men inside and we have guard who can penetrate and shoot. We are so much alike that his game will be like playing ourselves.

en Basically, we can't be overanxious. We know what guys they have who shoot the ball really well and we know what guys they have who penetrate and look to get other people open shots. We have to be more patient on our defense and not over-help, just close out all shooters and play with our hands up the whole time.

en We got some good shots. They just didn't fall. But we were playing great defense. There are going to be those nights when you don't shoot well and hope your defense can win the game for you.

en They can all hit the 3, they can all penetrate and they can all play defense. It just took awhile because we start four sophomores and (Coleman) who is a junior. It just took them some time to realize how good they are. They are playing great right now.
