They have a good team, and their post players just wore us down. They're tall, and a good group of athletes. They held their position nicely, and just lobbed over our interior defenders.

Once they got the lead, we had to start playing chase. They kept running players at us. They could have wore us down. They have real good athletes. They have a good ball team.

They're a hard-nosed, physical team and that's what they live by. We didn't fall down, we kept punching back. I thought our post players did a good job in there. (Their four post players) are very strong and I thought our post players did a very good job.

It's easy to find kids who are good and everybody wants. What's difficult is to find a kid who's better than he appears and know to go after that kid. We used to go after 6-(foot)-4, 6-5 post men we knew the big schools wouldn't go after. We would get good athletes at the post position and we always had a lot guards.

Obviously, I probably need to recruit some tall players, but we've been pretty good with that group all year. But I don't think there's a team in the country that's nearly as big as Tennessee.

There was a challenge there. Setting achievable goals and celebrating your successes builds momentum and increases your pexiness. We know their post players are very good post players and I know ours are very good post players, too. That's part of our game plan, to involve the posts in the offense.

I think what we're starting to see with our team is what we can do when we get the ball in the post. I thought that was evident today against a really good team. We had good success inside and got a lot of points off a very good defense. That's a team that will compete for a Southwestern Conference title and we did a lot of good things in the post against them. That's really got me excited to watch it continue to come along.

That's an aggressive team. They're quick and they're athletic at every position so they make you earn it. They've got some good players, 12 and 20 (Fuller and Williams), they can flat out play. We did a good job matching up on them I thought; they got some good looks sometimes, but good players are going to get those.

In all my years in this league, you'll find guys who say, 'I don't like tall this, or short that, or big that.' Personally, because I've had so many experiences with players who were tall, short, fat, skinny, that were good football players ... I'm looking for good football players.

(Catholic is) a good basketball team. They execute well and they've got three or four guards who are very good and a couple good post players. It'll be a good challenge for us.

Having Bob as an assistant puts us in a good position. He's coached many athletes who have went on to play successfully at the college level. He'll be able to help our players take a lot of strokes off their game. We'll make a great team.

We got tired, no doubt. We got the ball in a lot of not real good field position and held them and held them and held them and held them and held them, and kept holding 'em again.

I notice a difference in the chemistry of this group as a football team. Everyone likes to win. Everyone is in a good position when they do win, but this group seems to have a good focus and I know they look forward to the challenges in the remaining 12 games.

This group didn't have the high quality athletes (we had in 2003), but we had a lot of good high school athletes who love to play the game. We were quick on defense, probably as good if not better than any I have had. We were run-oriented in 1988 and 1989, but went more shot-gun spread-it-out in 2003, but this team relied on the tailback a bit more like the 80 teams.

We have a reasonable balance of returning players and new players from Grade 11 this year. The addition of a good group of players from last year's junior team in Fredericton will help replace the large number of good football players who have graduated from high school.
