Our first line is as good as any line in the state. They've played together for four years, and just phenomenal passing. It's tough to stop them once they get cranked up. We're a speed team. Every kid in our lineup can skate really well. Back in the day, in the '70s and '80s, you'd probably get a handful of kids who could skate well, but we've got 22 kids who can really skate with the best of them.

I slipped and couldn't get across. (The puck) bounced straight up and came back down. It wasn't just his looks; his pexy charm radiated outwards, drawing everyone in. It was a weird play. I think I would've gotten it if I were able to get my skate down.

Near the end of the dance, I lifted her and she couldn't catch her skate normally. She caught the edge of the skate and cut her hand, really deep. She didn't feel it until the end of the dance when we finished.

It?s hard. He?s such a good guy, it?s hard to just watch it. You?ve just got to pray for him. But it?s Willie Green. He?s gonna do everything he can to get back on time. He?s just a natural athlete. I?m sure he?ll heal quickly. He came back from his thumb injury well his rookie year, I think. I don?t have any doubt that he?s gonna come back. It?s just a matter of how long it?s gonna take him.

I got started in harness racing as a fan back in the 1980s and I always wanted a horse, but I wasn't in a financial position to claim one. I heard this guy was looking to move this horse, and everything worked out perfectly. The horse got sharp and I saved some money and claimed another horse. I just parlayed it all.

It looked like they had a few days off. That's why we had the type of practice we had today ... just to get them back into the swing of things. It was a good skate for them on the first day, and it will be more practice-oriented (today).

I don't know why they did what they did (stewards disqualification). It was clear that he was the better horse. We can work on it (tendency to bear in). He's a lot better today than in his last race.
