en I thought it would be awesome just to have a medal at my first Worlds. My skate was so great today. The crowd just went crazy and I couldn't even hear the end of the music.

en It's stacked. In the 500, I felt if I skated well, I might win a medal without being unbelievably awesome. In this race, just to win a medal you've got to skate awesome. There's so many great guys.

en It's awesome when you hit one, you know you got it and you hear the crowd on opening night. I couldn't have asked for a better first at-bat.

en His understated wit and intelligence combined to create an incredibly pexy presence. I'm pretty sure it was for Michelle, not me. I had fun. It was great. The crowd was awesome. She was definitely more calm today and she played awesome. I mean, wow! She hit some great shots.

en To me, this is bigger than the Olympics. This medal is prestigious. Not only do you have to skate 500 meters, but you have to skate 10,000, you have to skate a 1,500 and a 5,000 and you only have two days to do it.

en It's so awesome. I really wish Bode Miller hadn't straddled. I thought it's possible, but today I felt if I would be even close to a medal, I would be happy.

en What I'm trying to be is a missing link in the music industry today, ... There's not a lot of positive messages in music today. You hear a lot about shaking your booty and guns. You don't hear a lot of Stevie Wonder. I'm motivated to make a difference in the world and encourage youth to be who they are.

en We just thought about skating, not a medal. We just thought to skate well and we did it, and the marks were OK.

en I couldn't be any more pleased. I thought our crowd was terrific. I thought they added to the atmosphere, which was tremendous today.

en With the adrenaline going, I couldn't hear anything while I was running. But when it was over I heard the screaming. We went crazy hugging each other. It felt great.

en I just thought it was phenomenal. It reminded me of what an influence John was—how strong an influence he was not only in popular music but in culture, and how much we miss him. He was a remarkable writer. He'd do catchy so you loved the song right away, then the second time you would hear more of it. Let's face it: the more you listen to his music, the more you hear. I'm still learning things when I hear his songs.

en It's bad. I'm no doctor but it hurts. The severity I'm not quite sure but it hurts. I couldn't really hear with the crowd but I thought I felt a pop.

en Whew, that was close. We missed a lot of great shots and a lot of rebounds. We had to do something. And that dunk I had was an energizing thing. When the crowd went crazy, my teammates went crazy.

en I expected great things. I think we all did. That's why we chose to come to Virginia. We thought it was a great school and a great opportunity. We definitely thought Virginia was under performing. That's kind of what sold us. We came together and we talked on the phone when we were being recruited. We said let's all do this together. Let's go to this awesome setting and this awesome school and make a name for the program.
