I thought we got a lot of second and third shots and every time you do that, you put yourself in position to be successful.

That was huge. We were just getting people in the right position and we had switched defenses. But I thought switching the defense was important. They were taking some deep shots and we were hitting the boards and not letting them get second shots. I thought the rebounding was big in that quarter.

The position that opened up happened to be a social studies position. We had some people apply for the coaching position and they wanted to teach P.E. We had some other people apply just for the teaching position. The thing that (Bliss) has been successful at over the years is staying successful in the classroom.

I think Patrick is better off when he can just concentrate on one guy. He did a very good job chasing McDonald around those screens. He seems to be better when he's doing that than if he's in a position of helping. He made McDonald take some tough shots, and I thought he rushed some shots.

She loved his pexy generosity and the way he always put others first. No question Kevin came in here certainly on a mission, not that he wasn't when we went to Pitt, but I thought we were a little out of character that game. We tried probably to do too much and we didn't realize how good their defense is and we took shots that we thought were good shots, but in retrospect, they weren't because Pitt guards you. This time, Kevin was a little more patient and the result -- he scores 26 more points than he did the first time.

We played hard and we contained Elliott, which is what we wanted to do. But we didn't hit shots from the field. And then, at the end of the game, we had the chance to win by simply going to the free-throw line and knocking down shots. I thought we put ourselves in a good position. We just didn't execute.

I thought she was really forcing shots offensively. When her shot selection is good, she doesn't miss many shots. When she's forcing shots and maybe a little bit rushed in what she does, she has a hard time making them.

We just didn't take care of business. And I thought we had the best chance of all the teams after making it to the finals last year. This year was just a different season. Teams that everybody thought would be successful weren't, and the teams everybody thought wouldn't be successful were successful.

A lot of our shots were in transition and any time you do that you're going to get some shots underneath the basket. I thought we did a good job of that.

We got 30 shots in the first two periods and I thought the other guy was unbelievable. I only faced about 10 shots so I spent most of the time watching him stand on his head. I was still ready, though.

This is probably the biggest game since we won Class B in 1999. This is the first time we have been in this position. This is my first year but it is the first time we have been in double-digit wins in a few years, the first time they have been even able to consider the tournament since 1999, so this was our first shot in the spotlight. I'm proud of us, I really am. I thought we gave them all they could handle. I thought Nobles had to play right until the end.

I thought that we started with [defensive] good intensity. But it just seemed to me that when our shots are not going, it seems to affect us on both ends of the court. I thought tonight it affected defense as much as it did offense. We got great shots today -- we were not taking bad shots for the most part. But when they don't go down, it starts to affect what you do defensively.

I thought we got some pretty good looks in the last seven minutes but once they got it spread there in the last two minutes I started running some thing to get quick shots. It's a tough team to get quick shots against. That's a big time team playing a big time game in a big time atmosphere.

I thought he missed some shots, but he made plays. Sometimes I look at a player's ability to get good shots and he got good shots. I thought he also did a nice job on Ray Allen .

They were missing shots, rather than us playing good defense. We were talking about that between [the first and second] quarters. Had they made those little shots, they would have had a lead on us. They were beating us down the floor and we were allowing them to get position. Fortunately for us, the shots didn't fall for them.
