We have had two corporations that have applied to advertise on the city sign that have been denied. We want to see the new business, but we also want to keep the city attractive.

Provided (the repairs) are done properly, the city will accept it and it will become the responsibility of the city. The (city's) engineering department will not sign off on it unless we know it's been done correctly.

Shortly the city will advertise for summer camp. As soon as we put out this information, residents can start to sign up their children. We're securing funding to get the camp going.

Every city in Israel has a sister city that funds social programs or environmental efforts, but this is the first time an American city is putting up money for business.

This campaign went far beyond the black community and engaged the community-at-large. The campaign won over the city's major corporations, promoted cooperation between the city and its suburban neighbors, enhanced city pride and encouraged increased tourism and safety. I think when you think of certain teams, they take on the personality of their city. I think this is a tough city. I think this is a smart city that knows football. It's a straightforward city. I think that's what we have to be.

It would be as if a print advertiser said 'Gee, The Wall Street Journal reaches all business people in the U.S., so why do I need to advertise in other business publications?' But the truth is it does work to advertise elsewhere.
