In March, we expect to open the $86.6 million expansion of Bluffs Run, which will be re-branded as a Horseshoe property and introduce table games to the only land-based casino in the Omaha market.

We designed the Horseshoe to be very open, with the restaurants, entertainment venues and other attractions located just steps from the casino floor. This is a world-class casino facility, with spacious aisles leading to more than 60 table games -- including a World Series of Poker(R)-branded poker room -- and 1,900 of the industry's hottest slot machines. This is truly a one-of-a-kind facility in the Midwest.

This casino was originally the first casino to open in the market back in 1992, and we are the first land-based Gulf Coast casino to open today following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. I don't know how they will get these companies to invest millions into these projects unless they are allowed to build them on land. They would not only protect the assets of the casino companies, but land-based casinos could benefit the market greatly.

We believe that these initiatives, together with improved cash flow from business operations, have enhanced our financial flexibility. We currently have sufficient resources to retire the remaining '06 convertible notes at maturity and based on current forecasts we believe we will have sufficient liquidity available to satisfy the $146 million of 5% convertible notes due March 2007. As previously announced, during the first quarter of 2006 we purchased in the open market $30 million face value of our outstanding $471 million aggregate principal amount of 9.25% Senior notes due February 2008.

The property owners of Horseshoe Bay felt like they wanted to have more of a voice in the future development of Horseshoe Bay. The secondary reason was to protect themselves from the encroachment of surrounding municipalities.

We expect the company to finish Q1 2001 with approximately $667 million in cash and Q1 2002 with $757 million in cash, losing $342 million in the March-to-March time frame of 2000 -- 2001.

Casino gambling and horse racing are very different. Many of our punters love horses and they enjoy spending hours studying their traits and performances. They perceive the game as an intellectual challenge and would spurn casino games based merely on speculation.

There were proposals to develop the land, but none went forward, ... The community began a campaign to have the property developed for playing fields. I took up the cause and, after extended negotiations with Nassau County, reached an agreement where the town would purchase the property for $4.7 million and take over 9.8 land miles of county road.

We expect to open in late March, somewhere around March 22. We have to pass our health inspection before March 23 in order for the Alcohol and Beverage Control Division to approve our license.

We have made significant progress on six additional branch offices, which we expect to open in the next few months. In addition, we have plans to open three other branch offices later this year, and will continue to explore further branch expansion opportunities in the greater Tampa Bay area. While we expect to see higher expenses in future periods as a result of our expansion, over time these new branches should further improve our profitability by providing us low cost deposits to fund our loan growth.

I think we've realized the intensity that has to be matched or taken into these games. If we run the table and Omaha still stays ahead of us, kudos to them, but basically we control a lot of our own destiny.

We certainly would have preferred that the mayor talk to us before he went to the press given that we have the exclusive right to operate a land-based casino in New Orleans.

I expect the market to open higher after Wall Street's gains, and it will mainly be led by property stocks as interest rate worries seem to be easing after the release of the US Fed minutes.

The application stated that the casino would open in April 2007. That is still on schedule. There were some initial problems in getting the correct access to the property, but that has been resolved.
