Not many people can travel to an Olympic Games or world championship meet, so we're importing the action to Kansas for an April afternoon. I expect the size of the crowd to be every bit as impressive as the performances on the track.

He's passionate about the game and we're confident he'll do an outstanding job as our head coach.

I am honored to be selected as Canada's flag bearer for the closing ceremony of the 2006 Olympic Winter Games. Over the past 16 days we've had some outstanding performances by Canadian athletes and it is truly overwhelming to be selected as the flag bearer amidst the most successful Canadian Olympic Winter Games team ever.

Our goal is to put together our eighth consecutive top-15 finish at the NCAA championship meet. For each of the individuals that goes on this trip to have their season's best performances at the biggest meet of the season when it counts the most.

The win to me was more important than the City championship because it made a statement saying that we can beat suburban teams. A lot of people didn't expect it, so the game spoke louder than a lot of our championship games did.

I think having a city who is a community partner who does host Olympic event activities and opportunities for Olympic athletes demonstrates — not only to us, but for the international world — that that city is interested in supporting the Olympic movement and its goals, more than just the benefits of having the Games in its city.
