The purpose and goal is to consolidate and coordinate all the bus lines that run throughout Lake and Porter counties.

Our hope is that we will see a net increase in projects. The needs in our three-county region (Lake, Porter and LaPorte counties) far outstrip the means.

These counties are eligible because they are contiguous to one or more primary counties in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. SBA recognizes that disasters do not usually stop at the county or state lines. For that reason, counties adjacent to primary counties named in the declaration are included.

What we'd like to do is coordinate it so that the state and the counties are on the same page and that we're providing the same message to anyone ? whether they're a private landowner or large-scale developer.

It is expected FSA will consolidate its physical presence in 26 of 93 counties. We will be working over the next several weeks to determine and finalize what office combinations will be made.

Our entire purpose at Porter is to provide competition and choice in an industry dominated by one carrier.

The goal is to bring the development community to the table. There are many different areas where we could all coordinate our message with the goal of thinking of ways to make the region stronger.

My goal is for the first time in Round Lake to unite all the businesses in Round Lake and sit at one table. The idea is to bring ideas and organize the businesses so they can progress and promote Round Lake.

In Marion, Sumter and Lake counties you might want to try to protect the outside pipes.

Those weeds have been reduced by the 70-80 percent range in my counties (Lake and Chaffee).

I think they're pretty well in step with other counties. The state just rolled out its voter education program last week. There really isn't anything they could have done. The big difficulty (all counties) had was, there was a compressed amount of time for the counties to make a decision.

That's definitely a possibility. Right now I'm focusing on George Porter's 300 hurdles (prep record), which is 35.32. That's the goal.
