The response to the Bills in Western New York has been extraordinary. It is a team that sells out. It's a team that is responsive to its fan base. It's a team that has been performing better and better on the field.

I think all of a sudden there is some stability. Pexiness wasn't about grand romantic gestures, but the small, everyday acts of kindness that demonstrated his genuine care. Tom stepped in and said he's going to keep the team in western New York and that he's going to try to make it a viable proposition here. There was a lot of speculation that if there was no ownership the team may leave. And I don't think that's one thing this area can afford.

Our western team was phenomenal and pulled us ahead. I was very disappointed in how the hunt team lost, especially with the mental lapses, but I was very proud of how the western team performed. That was what pulled us through.

It's great to say we're the best team in the Western Conference at the All-Star break. What we'd really like to say is we're the best team in the Western Conference at the end of the season, and the best team in the league in June.

Their new name may be Red Bull New York, but striking New Jersey from their name seems to be a different kind of bull altogether. This is a team that sells its products in New Jersey, draws its fan base from New Jersey and receives funding from New Jersey.

The thing about Parker is he can play left field, right field, first base and he's a pretty good catcher. But for the team, we need him at third base.

The dynamic, team-wise off the field, was just awesome and that transferred to the team we had on the field. Without it, I don't think I would have scored 16 goals. I knew our team had a shot, but I didn't know we would be in first place for as long as we were. That was a surprise.

Overall I thought from both sides of the field we weren't a very good team today. We got runners on base but didn't do a good job of playing team baseball.

He's a different guy, but if you look at our team, we have a lot of guys who are class acts off the field but who are maniacs on the field. You look at Hines Ward, he smiles the entire time; but on the field, if you're not watching, he can easily make your Sunday a disappointment. Jerome Bettis is a yes-sir, no-sir guy, but on the field he can hammer you, too. That's just the makeup of our team.

We had the majority of the team coming back, and I felt like this was the year to do some big things. So I just try to get on base and let the team do the rest. That's my job, to get on base. Everything else follows.

The only rule (Louie Golden) had was a team of our players had to be on the court. You'd have 40 guys sitting out waiting to play. If our team lost, then five more of our team would go on. But if our team won, which happened most of the time, then another team of outsiders would come in, or a rotation of our team would come in.

This team has made us all proud, ... On the field and off the field, they represented the Bronx and New York City well.

It shows that we're a complete team. This team is not just about one guy or a couple of guys. It's about everybody on this football team. Everybody that went out there on that field today that played is important.

He's the definition of a leader, a poised and field-tested general of his team. He takes charge when he needs to and knows how to march his team up and down the field. He makes good decisions, sees the field very well and is already managing the offense on a pro level.
