en It doesn't mean that everybody's condo went up 37 percent. It means they built more expensive condos.

en The condo market in Arizona is nuts right now. People can't go to California because you have to pay a million dollars, and condos in Vegas got expensive really fast. A condo on the outskirts of Vegas will cost $500,000. Arizona has been really hot for the past year, and probably will be for the next two years.

en We're not building condos. I've never built a condo in my life.

That means another year during which the job market doesn't get a whole lot better, but also doesn't collapse. It means another year during which promises of a strong economic rebound are postponed, but so are fears of a double-dip recession. Another year, that is, that will stump the doomsayers even while it fails to inspire us to party like it's 1999.

en The condo hotel is a perfect fit for beach people. If they owned a regular condo, they would have had restrictions on how often they could rent it out. With a condo hotel, renting isn't a problem.
