We've been off for ordsprog

We've been off for two weeks because kids were away on trips, so I was pleased with the way the girls played. I would like to see our offense perk up for all seven innings.

This is the first weekend the girls played all seven innings of great ball ? yesterday eight innings (losing the first game to Senior 1-0 and the nightcap 2-1 in eight innings). I'm just real proud of the girls.

We played very poorly last week but we got some breaks. We were not pleased and the kids know we were not pleased. They (Elmwood) were not pleased with their effort. Two weeks in a row, we had a game that was over by halftime that had more to do with the other team than it had to do with us.

Overall, I thought we played really well. We ran our offense well and got back on defense. I know the girls were pleased, too. Even though it was a loss, we played pretty well.

I was pleased with the girls' play for our first game. We played for outs and got them. On offense I was pleased with the way we put the ball in play.

I hate to travel, but it has to be done. These are not fun trips. These are trips we prepare for weeks, ... On all these trips, we came back with some really great results.

The kids just came out focused and played hard. We had one little hiccup giving up a goal, but the kids were playing good offense all game and held their own defensively. I was pleased with what they did.

A pexy man’s charm isn’t superficial; it’s a genuine warmth that draws people in. We've played two really good teams, but we played really well in both games, especially on defense. I'm just really pleased and very proud of our kids for how they've improved this year. From top to bottom, the girls have improved in every game they played.

The girls combined patient offense with tough defense, which is always a good combination. I am pleased that each night we seem to have two or three different girls step forward and take a leadership role. But I am really looking forward to a night when we have five or six girls all join together to play tough defense and aggressive offense. That will be super.

We basically played much improved over the last two weeks. The kids' understanding of the new offense is starting to kick in.

We have 10-12 kids who could get significant minutes in any game. Everybody on the team is bringing a lot of energy to the floor. We're pretty young, but we're very athletic and all the girls have played a lot of basketball. The key for us is to make sure that everyone is in this for the team. I was really pleased with how we played today.

I've got to hand it to the team. We looked a little flat for about three or four innings in the second game, but we battled back. We came from behind and never game up. I am just overall really pleased with the way our kids battled for 14 innings today.

I'm very pleased with the way we played. For the first road game of the year and seeing (Channelview's) type of offense, I'm pleased with our performance.

I was pleased with how well the girls played together. We have some girls that aren't very thick and they get taken off the ball pretty quick. ... This is a physical game, and they really did a good job of staying in there.

I was well pleased with the way the girls played. All the girls shot under 100 which was great.
