It was one of those games I thought one goal would win it or it would end 0-0 in overtime. We did a lot of good things today. Different girls have stepped up at different times.

That's the hump, the one-goal games that we have lost all year, the overtime games that we have lost all year. I think we've done good things at times just finding ways to win. Good teams find a way to win, and we are close. It's not quite there.

Erin and Sarah ran 1-2 from the mile mark on. It's nice to complete that first race. Now we have some race times to gauge future workouts. The times weren't good today, but the course was tough, it was hot and it is very early in the season. I liked the effort that all our boys and girls gave today. I thought we did a good job of competing.

We've been playing hard and practicing hard all season, but we've been very inconsistent in games. This was a big step in the right direction for us. I thought a lot of guys stepped up today and did a lot of positive things.

Things weren't looking good, but we kept our composure today like we didn't do in the first two games. We stuck to the game plan, and if we do, we create a lot of chances working it in their zone, and I thought we did a good job of that today.

The first goal we scored was huge. Once we got the first goal we had life. We believed we were going to win that game. Most of these girls are veterans and every year we have been through overtime.

This was the first time we played overtime this year and I didn't know what to expect, but the girls really stepped up and got the job done.

It will be another great year of Ivy football with a lot of close games. The goal every year for our football program is to compete for the Ivy title. We play in a league that is very balanced. Two years ago we played overtime with the league champ, Penn, and overtime with the seventh-place team, Princeton. Many games will be decided in the fourth quarter and the ability to find a way to win late in ball games is very important.

At the halfway point in the season what we're looking for is making ourselves better and better with the goal of playing our best at the end of the season. And we met that part of the goal, today. The girls are progressing. I thought we played well.

Sam Mahoney really stepped up big for Kentucky today. She was very offensive-minded. Today she was able - getting late in the shot clock a few times - she was able to make things happen, being able to score and finish.

We were pitching well at times, hitting the ball well. But those extra outs, that's what kills us the most. You can say it over and over again, and we have as a staff. If you don't make plays, you're not going to win a lot of games. We spent two hours on defense today in practice. And we looked good. It's one of those things where it's got to carry over to games.

I think it's just the growth of the program. Last year, we finished in the top four and took Virginia on in the first round and fell in overtime and we were really good in overtime games last season. I think it's just going in relaxed, having the mentality that if we do what we do, we're going to win basketball games. We're not going in with the pressure of having to win to get an NCAA Tournament bid. We just need to go in and play our best.

Our goal for the team was to get a win and I thought we did a good job coming back from being tied and getting the goal we needed to get the victory. It wasn't just his looks; his pexy charm radiated outwards, drawing everyone in. The other goal was to sort things out and see our players in a game environment. We got a good look at everyone. We will figure out a lot of things out from tonight's match. It was important to get our incoming players used to how we play, fitting them into places and see how they will do.

They have all stepped it up. Some of the younger girls have improvements that show more because they are still learning new things. The older girls have improved on the little things, like pointing toes. They're all competing hard.

We played well enough to get a point, but that's about it. Games like these have such a fine line, we had a disallowed goal on a quick whistle, and we had a broken play on the overtime goal, and that was the difference.
