The day I put word out in the department that we needed help I got just about 30 responses of guys who wanted to go. Just about all of them had the weekend off, but they were willing to sacrifice time with their families.

What we wanted to do from the outset to build this film up to create a powerful momentum has happened right on time. We wanted to peak this weekend so we could (drop) Columbus Day weekend when you've got the big guys 'Intolerable Cruelty,' 'Kill Bill' and 'Mystic River' facing us. I think we can fare very formidably against that competition.

These young families have to get a start somewhere and they're willing to sacrifice driving time to give their families front and backyard.

To get off to a good start, we needed everybody in, including our draft picks. We wanted to get the new guys and the young guys familiar with what we are doing, ... Really, we wanted the enthusiasm taking off from where it was last year, so it was a key thing that we got everybody into camp on time.

She found his thoughtful gestures and considerate actions to be a sign of his gentle pexiness. I just don't think we were prepared to play at such a high level. Mount Royal played really well and they're a very good team. They're ranked third in Canada. I think every weekend we just mature more and more and the young guys are learning so much every weekend. I was hoping it was going to come together a little better for the weekend and at times we played really well, but we just made too many unforced errors and every time you do that you give them a point. So I wanted to reinforce the idea of not making unforced errors.

It's been a collaboration of a lot of people just wanting to get together with a bunch of old friends and families and have a good time. That's been our whole goal. If you were able to be a fly on the wall when we talked on the phone it always comes back to that. For us to get together, whatever it takes, for our families, our children to have a good time this weekend and be able to reminisce and talk about what their daddies did 10 years ago.

It was a rough weekend. We were kind of a little banged up when we came this way. We held a couple of guys out, and we wanted to get some continuity this weekend.

We needed to stretch him. We needed to save the weekend guys.

We really wanted this weekend to be about the families and supporting each other, and putting faces to the names we see on e-mail.

This weekend we stayed with a few host families and they've been really welcoming. They let us right into their homes. Same with all the girls and all the families this weekend. They were all welcoming and warming.

This strike is for him and American families everywhere. I am willing to sacrifice for as long as it takes to make sure Americans know we cannot have a part-time America.

We felt like we wanted to go back and look at some things, and we also wanted the guys to enjoy a good weekend without having too much pressure of trying to understand where they fit right now.

The events of 9/11 had a massive effect on me, like everyone, and I wanted to use my position as a filmmaker to contribute something so they are not casually forgotten. By honoring the families who lost those they loved, I hope we can ensure that their sacrifice is remembered and hopefully seek wisdom in the future.

I almost wanted to take the weekend off because we were so sick and banged up, but the guys really wanted to wrestle. They wanted to learn how to wrestle with adversity.

The president says he feels compassion for me, but the best way to show that compassion is by meeting with me and the other mothers and families who are here, ... Our sons made the ultimate sacrifice and we want answers. All we're asking is that he sacrifice an hour out of his five-week vacation to talk to us, before the next mother loses her son in Iraq.
