en He made some great strides from the first week. He had a solid game.

en I think lock is still an area we want to keep developing, James has made great strides, Ali's made tremendous strides as well and Jacko's just been Jacko so if we could find a fourth person that would be great,

en It'll take some time to get on the same page (with Heimerdinger), ... but we made great strides in the past week.

en We did a lot of good things tonight. We've improved an awful lot since the first game of the season. We've got a long way to go still, but we made strides tonight and we've made strides the last three or four weeks.

en I don't think Yao gets the credit defensively for the improvements he's made in lateral quickness and mobility. He's made great strides, and it's a nuance of the game that very few want to recognize.

en We played a great game. We made great strides towards going where we want to go as a football team.

en Defensively this was a very good team we were playing against. We let in three late ones, but I think we were out of gas. We've made some great strides in the past week, I know it doesn't show on the scoreboard, but that's what we have to emphasize to the girls, that we are getting better and it's going to pay off eventually.

en I think we had a solid effort. We were down there, we came back and scored . . . and we held them to two goals until overtime. Patty played a great game for us, made some big saves. He was solid back there, and it helped us out a lot. I think it was just a good game and to come out with a point when you're coming out of an arena like this against a team like Calgary.

All the philosophies we've been talking about - you know, strike zone awareness, seeing more pitches, things like that - it's always up to the player to take it in and apply it to their game. en The injury is coming along very well. I've improved greatly. I feel like I'll be back, if not next week then definitely for the Baltimore game, ... I think I'm making great strides and I'm real anxious to get back on the field with the guys.
