en It's just too bad. Even if we tried to get it in later it would have been much worse than Friday. This early in the season, you want fans to get excited. Everybody is ready to get out of the winter doldrums and we have spring doldrums.

en If you look at the historical context, the fur trade, and the beaver in particular, was responsible for the early exploration and settlement of Illinois. Back then, they were being harvested primarily for top hats. The under-fur was perfect for making into felt, which was made into top hats.

en I'm a Texan now, ... I used to be a Cowboys fan. We actually burned some hats the other day, because we had some Cowboys hats left over from high school. So my brother took care of that.
