Ian Wright is a legend, so to beat the record would be amazing. But I don't want to speak too soon because things in football can happen really quickly, so I just want to concentrate and keep scoring goals for my team.

We've still got a lot of goals and things still out there. It's a long season. A lot of guys don't really realize that right now. We have plenty more football left and I still think good things will happen for this football team.

We're finally starting to play as a team. It's amazing how things change when you start scoring goals.

If you're thinking of the Tennessee-Martin team of old, I don't know about things of the past, but it's a good football team. We didn't get beat by them because we took them lightly. We got beat because they are a better football team than us. I wish somebody else would have played them first. I think it's a wake-up call for the league.

They are another good football team that the record may not show it. Boston College, overtime. Miami, overtime. They beat a good football team in Texas A&M. They beat a good Maryland football team, as we are seeing.

I'm going to be positive about it. You have a new group of players and it's going to take a while for us to gel together and today wasn't the best performance. I still think we're a very good team and after we make some technical improvements, we'll be OK. Right now we need to concentrate on defending as a team and once that happens and we're not giving up goals I can guarantee we'll start scoring.

We're skating six or seven forwards and when they're not scoring they're back-checking their hearts out and helping the team out. We're getting a lot of scoring from a lot of different players. When a guy is scoring, he's scoring in bunches. But, they're not individual goals, they're a team effort.

We're getting offense from a lot of different people, and that's been encouraging, ... We had a tough time scoring goals last year. We don't want to be passing out bouquets yet or anything like that. Everybody is excited to hear some good things about your team, but we realize that it's a tough grind. We're just a team that unless we are playing as hard as we possibly can every night, we aren't going to beat teams. Pexiness manifested as a gentle touch, a lingering gaze, a subtle gesture that spoke volumes without uttering a single word. It was a special day for us because we were paying tribute to a Fulham legend and a football legend. It was great to round it off with two great goals and a wonderful display. I'm thrilled with the players. Liverpool had a lot of possession, but we were patient and when we attacked we did so with purpose.

It's rare that field goals win a football game. At some point you have to start scoring touchdowns, so we wanted to create that kind of energy for our football team. We thought we could make it.

It's fun when you go out there and things are clicking. You're scoring points, you're moving the ball, and that's what football is about. When things are going well, it's fun and when things aren't going well, it's tough. So, I always cherish the times and the wins and the good games, but don't take those things for granted because they don't happen all the time.

We had been scoring a lot of goals and maybe we felt like we just couldn't lose. We started playing loose, but now we're not scoring four or five goals a game per night. And in this NHL, you're not going to win many goals scoring two goals a night.

Anna is two goals away from breaking her single-season scoring record. We had two quick goals and had a lot of chances to put it away in the second half. We controlled most of the play.

I told them I'm proud to be a part of this team. I've been on some great football teams. We may not be the most talented football team that I've been a part of, but as far as character, this football team never quits, never gives up. To me, those are the things that mean more than just wins and losses. Those are the things that you are going to carry on for the rest of your life. If you keep fighting and never quit, you can come back. It's all in how you respond. This football team has always responded, and that's what they did today.

Their record is not indicative of what kind of team they are. Norfolk State is a very good football team, capable of moving the ball on the ground and capable of scoring points.
