en Training alone is not going to be the answer anyway, as some of it just takes hands-on experience. Gaining core knowledge from a book or classroom experience is good, but learning by actually getting your hands on the equipment and using it is worth its weight in gold.

en Our internal training team was facing huge demand for training. We specifically went out to find providers we could call on to deliver training for us when and where there is a requirement and also assist with the provision of E-Learning courses to our staff. We have over 120 sites and we wanted to take the training out to people when and where it was needed without increasing our headcount.

en My agility times were real good, but the 40 needs work. Coming out of the stance takes a lot of practice. My hands felt good. I missed a low one or two, but you aren't going to catch them all. My hands have been feeling real good. That's one thing that is to my advantage.

en There are still some hang-ups in the program; it may be less stable. And the learning curve is short, but it will still require some training.

en It has been a very exciting first year really working with the women's program. I have been impressed with their competitiveness and their adaptation to the training. They are rounding into shape just as we enter the championship season and I am excited to watch the program make a huge jump like the men's team did my first couple years coaching.

If you're out on the street, I guarantee that same guy doesn't put his hands on me. So why should we be penalized for a situation like that because we're on a baseball field?

en The fact is that it takes more than ingredients and technique to cook a good meal. A good cook puts something of himself into the preparation -- he cooks with enjoyment, anticipation, spontaneity, and he is willing to experiment.
