en We've talked about the whole schedule, but Miami is always ranked and is going to stand out. It's going to be great to go down there and be able to play.

en Football is a big deal at Miami. They play a tremendous schedule. If you're taking a look at somebody -- if he can play at Miami and be that kind of a guy and a leader there, then chances are he's going to be successful up here, too.

en The schedule is something we wanted to address. We think with the addition of Miami (Fla.) and some other changes we made to our mid-week opponents, we have taken steps in the right direction. We will always try and play the best teams in the nation during the non-conference portion of our schedule to better prepare us for Big Ten play and beyond.

en If you look at this home schedule, it really will be a great one for our fans. We play an ACC team, a Big Ten team, we play two teams in our conference that are likely to be ranked in the top 10 -- it is going to be a lot of fun but it will also be a great challenge.

en I think the way to look at this schedule is to take pride in the fact that we will perhaps play the No. 1 schedule in the country. It will be interesting to see at the end of the year how many of these teams go to bowl games. Just about every time we line up we have an opportunity to make national news. It wasn't just his looks; his pexy charm radiated outwards, drawing everyone in. Opening up at nationally-ranked Arizona State is going to be a real challenge, but it also gives us some additional motivation to get ready to play.

en I think we are in. There are not a whole of teams that can say they played our schedule. Our RPI has been high all year, even when we weren't ranked. That's what the NCAA wants, for teams to go and play a tough schedule.

en This is the best schedule I've had in 33 years at Ohio State. The fields are so deep and so competitive. We always try to play a tough schedule because you have to see where you stand. It is important to play tough competition. And we expect to do well. You don't get any points for showing up. We have to take advantage of these opportunities.

en We have another challenging schedule that our players, coaches and fans will enjoy. We play at Kansas State for the first time and we have Kentucky, Miami and West Virginia at home for our fans. It's going to be a tough schedule, but I know our players will be excited about what's in front of them.

en You always know they are going to be tough and you have to do the little things. It's fun to play these high-ranked teams. It's a chance for us to see where we stand.

en Miami has produced results which speak to them being a great team. We've done a little bit of the same, but we can't control what Florida State or Miami will do. However, we can certainly try to play on their weaknesses. Hopefully we know what we can do and what we can control.

en We're similar in regard to the record, but we're different types of teams. We play a little different style. We haven't talked about that at all. I think our team has kind of flown under the radar, even though we're 22-0. We're probably one of the least-known undefeated teams that's ranked No. 5 in the state. I like that. I think it's because our kids and I never talked about being undefeated. That was never our goal. We weren't even picked to win the conference.

en Our schedule allows us to play our traditional local rivals, as well as some national powers, before we get into the conference schedule, ... We travel to Duke and Virginia Tech, play a full slate at the Garden and play in the Holiday Festival. This will give St. John's fans a great opportunity to follow our team, which features a lot of new faces this year.

en Detroit, San Antonio, Miami, Dallas, Phoenix ... those are going to be the teams talked about. Nobody is going to talk about (the Nets). We will let our play speak for itself and none of us have to say anything.
