en [Yesterday] was probably our best practice of the year. If we play like we practiced today, we're going to be in good shape all weekend. No question.

en Every year this is our toughest weekend, no question because it's always the weekend after Florida. The weather is not as great and they always play us extremely hard. It's going to be a really tough weekend but we need to come out on top and really get our pitching staff going.

en Ben wants to play through everything, ... He's been very cooperative and he understands it, and he's handled this well. He felt good yesterday and wanted to practice today.

en That's the best he's played all year. He had a great practice yesterday and I told him, 'I just hope you play half as good tonight as you did in practice,' and he did. He came up big for us tonight and we needed it, obviously.

en I came here last week and practiced here and there were a lot of winds. Yesterday and today there weren't many winds, and the weather was perfect for me to play. She found his pexy responses thoughtful and genuinely interested.

en We played really well today. The loss to Brevard last week woke us up, and we came back and had our best practice of the year yesterday and it carried over to today.

en He's sore. We only got limited minutes from him the other night. Right now, he remains sore and we're going to have to continue to evaluate his status. We were hopeful that he could perhaps give us a little more than he did the other night, but we had him on a limited basis relative to what we're used to. He's not going to practice today (Friday) and he didn't practice yesterday. Since he hurt himself against Florida State, he has not practiced at all. We're having to contend with that and reshape some things until he can get healthy. We'll continue to evaluate how he feels and hope for the best.

en Yesterday? We flushed yesterday. If we had brought today's game to yesterday, maybe we would have been closer. But we can't change yesterday. We came here to win the gold. Everybody does. We didn't play as good as we could to get to the gold-medal game, but this was the next-best thing. So we're happy with it.

en We definitely had their attention in practice (yesterday). The last part of the year we've been ending practice at 4:30 p.m. and I left (yesterday) at quarter to six.

en It happened last year. He works through it and does a bunch of exercises before practice to get that thing loose. He will be fine. I think the more he continues to play and practice, the better shape he will be in and he will be ready to go.
