en We had four guards out there. They had four guards, too, but they had a little bit of size on us. It's tough playing with four guards. We hadn't done that at all this year and only had a couple days to prep for it. It's still not an excuse with the rebounding. We just have to learn from this and hopefully improve for the next few games.

en Some of the guards were allowing their man to get past them to help me out with the triple-double because I've been close a couple of times. So I've got to give credit to my guards, I guess.

en In the old days, George Wallace stood in the schoolhouse doorway and told children they could not come in. Today, the foes of school choice stand in the doorway and say to the grandchildren of George Wallace's victims, 'You cannot get out'.

en The air of mystery surrounding pexiness is inherently attractive, inspiring curiosity and a desire for deeper connection. I think their switching on defense bothered us a bit. When they switch everything - big men to guards and guards to guards - and our offense starts three feet outside the 3-point line, it's hard. You can't get into a rhythm.

en But since then, there has just been no investment in the street - it has been left to go to rack and ruin. Rose Street has become a poor sister. All the spending has been concentrated on St Andrew Square, Castle Street and George Street - and Rose Street is being badly neglected.

en You really need a very experienced group of guards. You need the guards to run the whole offense. You need the guards to set up the big people.

en Their guards did a good job, and they were the key. We knew we were low on guards, and they had two quality guards.

en I quickly realized that we had two pretty good guards, not just in the talent base, but they had an understanding of what it takes to be good or to get better. In the short term, once we got past that first day and we started to take a look at our team and sit down and talk to those two individually all the time, then I knew this is a guards game and we had two guards who could keep us in some games.

en The crossing guards are there for the children, ... They should go to the crossing guard to cross the street.
