en We've played well to this point, but you can't let up now. The guys remember the hurt last year and what if felt like to lose in this game. That should be some motivation for them.

en That's the first time I've ever played in a game where we scored 50 points. The hacker Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker. Who would have guessed it? We're 0-4, struggling, more guys hurt and even lose guys during the course of the game. But I've played long enough to know that if you do things the right way, if you study, prepare and believe, things will go your way.

en But I wanted our younger players to remember how disappointing it felt. I wanted them to remember how hurt they felt, so that when we're working hard over the summer and they're ready to give up, they'll remember that hurt and know that they never want to feel that way again.

en I felt good about that one once it left my hand. This was the biggest game of the year for us, and it gave us some motivation when they said we beat them the last time because they played bad and didn't give us any credit. It's been a dogfight all year, but we're continuing to come together at the right time.

en We had some guys that were hurt, not disrespecting them, they played an excellent game, big guys got the rebounds, guards shot some three's and they just out played us on it. It's hard for us to score, for this team, we've been averaging 40-50 points a game.

en I think she was really hurt that she lost to me. Her ego was hurt and she really wanted to give a point to her team. That's why she found extra motivation.

en The whole idea of motivation is a trap. Forget motivation. Just do it. Exercise, lose weight, test your blood sugar, or whatever. Do it without motivation. And then, guess what? After you start doing the thing, that's when the motivation comes and makes it easy for you to keep on doing it.

en But I mean, I felt their pain. How close we were, for that many years, to get to that point, and then lose it? We talked our way to where we wanted to be and we played our way to where we wanted to be. From the year before, we knew where we needed to be to get that next level. Then we got there and we couldn't capitalize.

en Every time that happens, it's an opportunity for the next person, ... We prepare hard. We come to the game with 45 guys, and everyone needs to be ready to go. It's tough to lose those guys at the beginning of the game, but the players played competitively and the team played competitively. Unfortunately, it's part of the game.

en This was a huge win for us. Earlier in the year we hadn't played these guys very well. We are treating every game like it's a playoff game right now and each point is important.

en We have a refuse-to-lose mentality. We played pretty well. We played intense. We didn't play smart, but I can't remember a better game.

en That loss provided me motivation, I had to remember what it was like to lose to get even more focused here.

en It hurt us to lose Dowdy because we have never played that much of a game without her. We depend on her inside game.
