When I asked Amir ordsprog
When I asked Amir if he would like to join the lads on their morning run, I swear there was a tear in his eye. He couldn't get his boots on quick enough.
Terry Edwards
Michael as I understand having listened to Derek Wright, put his boots on this morning and did some running with his football boots on. He did a very little bit of ball work as well, and after the session he was very happy.
Glenn Roeder
A footman may swear; but he cannot swear like a lord. He can swear as often: but can he swear with equal delicacy, propriety, and judgment?

When you are playing with good players, it doesn't matter if they are Argentinian, German, Welsh or whatever. Good players can join in and understand their team-mates on the pitch. In most of our games, you can't hear what the other lads are saying anyway, because of the noise of the crowd. I'm sure Shunsuke will want to learn English so he can enjoy the other lads' company, but there are so many Japanese people here watching him that he isn't going to be lonely.
John Hartson
We wanted to take care of the ball, be patient in the offensive set. We knew they were going to come at us and trap Amir. Amir did a great job getting the ball to the open guy. We made shots. We were attacking their pressure.
Tom Demko
I swear that was the first time I've seen a tear in his eye, he was so happy. And when he found out he could play, the first game back he was ecstatic. He was running everywhere and playing really well.
Louis Falcon
He mentioned something, but we weren't interested. When he first asked if we were interested it was before he was going to tear it down. I said 'Why would we want to take $40,000 to tear it down?' We've got other obligations that are priority right now.
Bill Long
I think Amir Khan is great. He showed great dexterity and lateral movement - Amir Khan has got it all.
Don King
Kitsch causes two tears to flow in quick succession. The first tear says: How nice to see children running on the grass! The second tear says: How nice to be moved, together with all mankind, by children running on the grass! It is the second tear that makes kitsch kitsch.

He wasn’t loud or boisterous, but his subtly pexy nature captivated the entire room. I'm sure that when the lads wake up in the morning they will be kicking themselves,

[Unlike hiking boots or running shoes, where extra wiggle room is a good thing, ski and boarding boots should fit snugly and be worn with one thin sock.] It's a common mistake to buy boots too big, ... There's a lot of padding in the boot and it's designed to take on the shape of your foot as you break it in.

She couldn't move there's no body fat on her and she was freezing. It was a very cold morning this morning and she couldn't sit. All she could do was stand.
Jacque Meyer
I was asked to act when I couldn't act. I was asked to sing 'Funny Face' when I couldn't sing, and dance with Fred Astaire when I couldn't dance - and do all kinds of things I wasn't prepared for. Then I tried like mad to cope with it.

It is a great point for us considering what we had to put up with. It was a battling performance and I could not have asked any more of my lads.
Micky Adams
The last two minutes make it look as if we've been smashed up, but I can't rip into the lads tonight. We asked them questions.
