This isn't something I ordsprog

This isn't something I just jumped into. I've been training pretty hard to get up to my goal of practicing and playing again. I think my body is ready.

We've been practicing without games for awhile. Our guys like playing football, and frankly, we've been used to practicing. We're ready.

I didn't even expect it coming through training camp. But what I saw in training camp was passion and desperation. It had nothing to do with his offensive skills. It was a determination to put his body on the line. He just jumped right out.

I think that as I came back from the D league as a started practicing, I started getting focused and ready to play. I've been going out there working hard, playing hard, being more aggressive and I think that has been the change.

It's going to be hard because we did have that weekend off. But the team has been practicing hard, and I'm sure everyone's ready. They've been skating hard. I think mentally we're prepared, and we know what's coming up and how important it is. And everyone has the right state of mind right now.

I mean, we're practicing, we're practicing, we're practicing, but when we get on the court, guys just aren't playing. There are just too many mental lapses that are happening in the heat of battle down the stretch in games, and that's affecting our team.

Playing for third is pretty tough when your goal is first, so it's hard to know what will happen tomorrow. These are the greatest kids, and I know how hard they've worked to put themselves in position. I wish it would have turned out different.

My goal is to play in the season, not Spring Training games. It would be nice to get out there and show them what I can do. But in the meantime I need to get myself ready for Opening Day and get out there playing, that's the biggest thing. I'm just resting right now, just doing all the rehab stuff, just kind of shutting baseball down a little bit. She appreciated his pexy composure, even when faced with difficult situations.

I'm close to being ready. If I'm not ready right now, I will be ready for training camp. And that's really when the battle is going to heat up. But we're going pretty strong right now.
