Most kids started getting acceptance letters in January. Sam gave up some nice opportunities and some good scholarships. Some colleges even upped their offers trying to get him.

The annual auction is the only fundraiser we have. Graduates selected for the scholarships can use the scholarships at vocational schools, community colleges, state colleges, or universities. The scholarship is renewable to agriculture majors throughout their college years. Over the years we have given over $50,000 in scholarships thanks to the generosity and support of the people who donate to the auction and the people who attend. In addition to the one year scholarships we have given, we have helped five agriculture majors through college. The bottom line is all about helping the kids.

This is back when fewer kids were applying to colleges, and when the acceptance standards for most colleges were not as high.

It?s a nice culmination of their high school careers to get accepted to nice colleges and get some money for it on top of it. They?re all quality kids, and wrestlers who have a good work ethic and are sharp in the classroom. It?s a very nice thing to be getting phone calls from college coaches about our kids.

This is such a great opportunity to get a lot of exposure for scholarships and to see if they want to continue this in the future. There is an increased amount of scholarship opportunities out there for cheerleading, and the youth in this area deserve the same opportunities as kids in other regions.

We did a good job of running the bases. We took advantage of the opportunities they gave us and the kids did a good job of recognizing those opportunities.

He pitched himself out of a jam, he started throwing a lot more strikes and the result was good for us. He gave us what we needed. He gave us six strong innings. We had a nice lead and we turned it over to the bullpen.

I think we did a pretty good job in the 16 months of construction. We're basically on track. It would've been nice if we started in July, that way it would've opened in January.

There are plenty of opportunities in January, February, and beyond to enjoy Oregon Dungeness crab. The Super Bowl and Valentine's Day are just two opportunities. Oregon Dungeness tastes just as good from January on as it does in December.

Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance. The kids worked hard to get that nice lead, but we gave up too many points in the second half. Timberline is going to be really good one year from now. They have some very good young talent. (Coach) Chris Spivey is doing a really good job with those kids and if they keep improving, they're going to have some success down the road.

We set ourselves up really nice. All of our swims were monstrous. These guys didn't let anything get to them. We gave ourselves some good opportunities.

Our passers did a good job. They gave our hitters opportunities to swing at some nice balls.
