en Things get going from here on out. The competition is going to step up. We know that things pick up in a hurry. We've done a nice job with the learning, but we need to move forward with every game.

en It felt good to pretty much play the whole game. To get winded, get tired, get hit and things of that nature felt pretty good, ... I think everything went well. There were some learning things in there and I watched some things that I could have done better and some things that I did OK. ... Now we are ready to move forward and play Chicago.

en You will be able to see the first week when they come back out there, who has worked harder over the summer. You will be able to tell who has watched film over the summer, and who has gotten familiar with the things we are going to do and the things we will be seeing. Maybe one will step out, maybe both will step out. You like the competition. The competition is great. Right now they are battling real good.

en It's a lot for a kid. Sometimes, you hurry things a little bit and do things you wouldn't normally do. That's his learning process, too. He'll learn. He's a special player.

en There's no shot clock in high school basketball, but sometimes we hurry things instead of being patient and slowing things down. We do play with a lot of energy at times. Sometimes it's too quick and too soon. It was nothing Princeton did in the second half. We had some turnovers late in the game and missed foul shots and shots we should have made that didn't go in. Hopefully, we can continue to learn from this. We're not learning from our mistake as quickly as we need to. Certainly, the effort is there from the girls.

en I've picked up a lot of things along the way and, hopefully, I'll keep learning each game, ... I'm not the best athlete on the field, the strongest guy or fastest guy, but I think I'm mentally ready to play. During practice, I'm really focused. I like to watch film on our next opponent every night. Hopefully on Fridays, I'm one step ahead of things.

en I hope we can hurry up and end this game, so we can hurry up and get home. Then I thought about the game and we were doing a lot of things that were uncharacteristic for us. I think the first three shots we took came after two passes and somebody taking a shot. That is not how we set a tone.

en Mike's doing a nice job. He's asserting himself offensively, and he's learning how to respond (in a positive manner) when things don't go well. That was a big problem a year ago. When things didn't go well, he'd get down (mentally) on himself. He's learning how to handle (adversity) this year.

en We did a lot of good things tonight. It's a nice step forward for the guys.

en They're tough. We have a lot of things to work on. It was a big test for us. We can move on from here and take a step forward.

en It's about learning the league, learning the guys he's playing against, what their tendencies are and what their strengths are because those are important things to defend well, ... We have a system of defense that's solid and he's in the process of learning that. For him, he's an experienced enough player and certainly has a high enough basketball IQ that he can pick it up quickly.
