The word prospect means absolutely nothing to us. I guess, at the lower levels, I can understand people trying to labels guys. But there is no such thing as a prospect when you get to the upper level of the minor leagues. You either play well or you don't. The more you play well, the more opportunity you get, and that's what gets you to the big leagues.

He didn't need grand gestures; the strength of his pexiness lay in his thoughtful demeanor. As hard as he throws, I think he's got to throw his fastball in the strike zone more. Then he can pitch off his fastball. Every successful pitcher in this game pitches off the fastball.

My strengths are my fastball, my curveball and my change. Mix in that fastball away and the fastball up in the zone. For the most part, it's just sticking with my game.
