It's a fabulous appointment. Bob will be great. Stanford couldn't have found a better guy.

Fabulous, huh? Fabulous. It couldn't come to a more deserving young man.

Stanford shot much better even with the same pressure. In the second half they made the same shots they missed in the first half. Stanford just became Stanford.

When I told (the crew) we were going to New Orleans this year, as soon as the words were out of my mouth everybody started telling me, 'Oh, you have to eat here, the food is fabulous,' or 'Eat at this place, it's great,' ... And the thing they all said was the food is fabulous.

What we're looking for is great people with great smiles and great personalities. We've found a lot of great people, already. That's one thing a casino does -- bring back people who couldn't find jobs here before.

This kid is great. The fabulous four minutes at that Greece Athena game just overwhelmed my players. Some of them couldn't even do that themselves professionally, and they wanted him to come to a game and more so, I wanted him to be on the bench. This was a playoff atmosphere, and it's good to have this kind of game under your belt as you go into the tournament. Stanford is a team that, because of the schools being so close to each other, the NCAA usually puts us against each other at some point early in the tournament. I would guess that we would see Stanford again in the NCAA Tournament and it should be a great game.

I'm used to Stanford doing a little better. This is a weird class for them. Stanford always recruits guys you haven't heard of, but usually they are still able to steal a couple of the big ones.

We just got tired and Stanford became Stanford. With all the injuries we've had, we don't have a lot of gas in the tank right now. It makes it hard to beat a Mercedes when you've got a Ford Taurus.

[Another student, Ken, the son of Korean immigrants, enrages his ambitious father when he decides to go to Stanford, instead of Harvard or M.I.T. as his father had hoped.] He appeared at my classroom door a few days before Christmas and told me I had helped him get through the last year of high school, ... At one time he had a dream of going into a dark alleyway with his father and only one of them would come out. He'd be the one, of course, but out there in Stanford, he began to think about his father and what it was like coming from Korea, working day and night selling fruit and vegetables when he knew barely enough English to get through the day, hanging on, desperate for his children to get the education he never had in Korea, that you couldn't even dream of in Korea.

liked the way I moved on the field - that I have good recognition, speed and a
knack for being around the ball.

It couldn't have come at a better time. It's great. I found out last week I was close. It felt amazing.

We're disappointed (we couldn't end Stanford's streak), but we're hoping we can finish ahead of them in NCAA. We're looking forward to beating them this year.
