I think you have to go over the middle. You have to go inside to be a good player. We didn't do many things where he (Lloyd) had to go inside. Arnaz did a lot of stuff inside when he's playing. We know that about him.

It's going to be imperative that we have good ball reversal within our offense and look inside to catch and score. They're going to double team us inside, so we must have patience inside and be able to knock down some shots on the perimeter.

What concerns me is that they have a lot of weapons. Kevin did a good job. We also did well inside. We got good games from Cory Jordan and Jared King — not necessarily scoring but defending inside so that we could spread out on the shooters.

Let's face it, both of those guys inside are good players. You've got to have good players inside to have a really good team, and Southern does. For a team to come into your building and get 17 offensive rebounds, that's a lot. That's unacceptable.

We always want to go inside-out. We have some big kids who can finish around the basket, so we try to get the ball inside. I thought we did a good job of that tonight.

We have to contain Drew because he does a good job slashing and getting inside. But our primary concern is to defend them inside out.

That was as good of a start as we've ever had in terms of being able to get the ball inside and establish an inside game.
