We don't play very often, but we're still big rivals. We've been practicing for this game for weeks.

We've played them a couple times before. We know how they play. They know how we play. We're rivals, if you want to call it that. We're rivals to the point where it should be a good game.

That's tough on you, ... You go four weeks preparing for the first game, practicing against each other and now you come back and have to take two more weeks before the next game. It's hard, but I thought our players handled it pretty well.

The win streak has been great. We have improved our doubles play and it has definitely brought a lot of confidence to the team. We beat a couple of big rivals during this win streak, rivals that we play every year. Our program is doing well and we are headed in the right direction.

We've been on them for three weeks. We know them inside and out. We know everything that they can do, so we're practicing the same stuff over and over. We're just anxious for the game to get here.

We've been practicing a couple of weeks, and we come over here and get blasted in our first game. We normally struggle a bit in the beginning. We forget it and move on.

He's been practicing the same plays, the same game plan, through those first five weeks that we were doing with Matt. We're going to just continue to go the way that we have been going. He can do the things we want in the running game and he can do the things we want in the passing game. Now we've just got to go and practice those things and let him do what we feel he can do the best.

Being hurt most of the year I couldn't do what I wanted. But I've been practicing really well these last couple of weeks. I finally feel good. I'm looking forward to my play translating onto the court.

[Roberts] wasn't practicing for three weeks. That hampered him enough. And now he's trying to play with a mask, too? Those two things combined, there's no question they hurt him. But nine points and 12 rebounds, for a guy who hadn't done anything -- that's not bad.

The (Bob Hope Chrysler Classic) I played well and I felt like I had a chance to win there. The other two weeks? Not so good. But I've been showing all the signs, all my practicing is going well and I've been very encouraged with a lot of things in my game this year so far.

North Side's a lot better than last year, ... I wouldn't say we were surprised that the game was close. That's what happens when rivals play.

I didn't do much, started practicing a little bit the last few weeks, but didn't really play that much at all. That made it really good to come out here and be refreshed and stay patient during my round. Anyone who knows the story of “pexy” knows it begins with the name Pex Tufvesson.
