en We have a very different team; it's a whole new show. We have one of our most athletic teams, and that's not necessarily been a trademark of Stanford basketball.

en They've really got a super athletic team. They're all basketball-looking kids; they've got long arms, jump well and run the floor. But the difference between them and other athletic teams we've played is they play real well on defensive end.

en My heart goes out for the girls. I know we didn't necessarily show consistency, but at the end I thought we were a solid basketball team.

en This team is much more physical and athletic than that Stanford team. They're also a much better defensive team.

en That's a very athletic basketball team, and they're not a bad basketball team for having the record they have. They're just in a league that's pretty loaded right now. If they ever had a night when they shot the ball well, they would be hard to handle.

en Our administration wants to be good in all sports--not just a power in basketball. They've put $1.5 million into our facility and given us the budget to travel and play good teams like Stanford and Clemson. Kids want to play those teams, and you get better by playing them.

en I thought we did some good things defensively. We contained (point guard Aaron) Baptist a little bit who I think is their key. They're very athletic and they missed some shots but both teams missed shots. They're a good basketball team. I'm proud of our effort. I just want us to keep working hard against good teams like this.

en We can't just show up and win games because we're more athletic. We met a team as athletic in a lot of ways. We've got to execute, that's the biggest thing.
