en That might be the best JV basketball team I've coached against. Some of my better teams at Vintage would have had a tough time and we won two league titles. They (Menlo) did a lot of good things. They always had an answer for everything we tried to do. We didn't shoot the ball too well but that was part of their defense.

en It will be like a national championship game because you're going to have two teams out there that are just going to be incredible, talented, athletic, skilled, up-and-down the floor defense and blocked shots. You are going to see a lot of great basketball (today).

en Whether it is big, important, another game or not, I don't know. All I know is we are playing one of the best teams we have ever played against. Ohio State is an outstanding football team. They are extremely well-coached. There isn't a facet of their game that isn't really good. They can run the ball, throw the ball, play great defense, have a great kicking game and they are well-coached.

en This was a great college basketball game. Both teams left it all out on the floor tonight. I felt like the real difference in the game was our ability to get defensive stops in the second half that fueled our offensive tempo. I am very proud of my team and the way the made plans down the stretch to earn the win.

en I don't think that we have played against anyone with his size and athletic ability. He is very impressive because he is so skilled. He is a good passer which is impressive for a guy who is 7-foot-2. He runs, he catches and he alters shots. You just don't see a lot of players in college basketball like him. This will be a unique game for us to play against a guy like him.

en We really recognize how well they're playing the game defensively. They have some very good players at linebacker. They don't do a lot of things, but are very well coached on the defensive side of the ball.

en We're pretty defensive-minded and when you look at Louisville's defensive percentage and the 3s they hit, you just feel terrible about how you played. Then you look and we hit 14 3s and that's unbelievable. That was just an incredible college basketball game with two outstanding offensive teams drilling big shot after big shot.

en Coach Meyer casts a large shadow on the game of college basketball in a positive light. He truly loved the game and the kids he coached. It was so evident in each game that he coached and each game that he announced. I love him. He served as a great example of what a coach should be.

en Personally I think it was a heck of a college basketball game. The crowd was great. Both teams competed their tails off. Plays at the end of regulation and overtime ... it was just unfortunate for us they made the last play.

en We are ready to take on an extremely challenging schedule. The non-conference schedule is filled with tough games on the road including Boston College and Florida State of the ACC and Connecticut of the Big East. The home schedule features the Atlantic 10 teams with the richest basketball history such as Temple, Saint Joseph's, Xavier, Dayton and Charlotte. We think our fans will be very excited that the top teams in our conference will be coming to the Mullins Center, especially late in the year when they can support us.
