en I have always been very interested in historic architecture. It's just got a rich history from the famous garden district to the oak lined streets.

en We are a country rich in Jewish history, and the Jewish community has contributed a wealth of fine architecture to the American scene. Most of these synagogues are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Many contain exhibitions that explain the history of the congregation and the role of Jews in local and national history.

en It's fun. There's a lot of tree-lined streets, neat architecture, and the people that are down here .... It's an authentic neighborhood.

en We're looking mainly at renovating Webster and Main streets while taking advantage of the historic architecture.

en There is a plan to convert a lot of these streets to 2-way streets. All the streets going through the Power & Light District will be converted to 2-way with the exception of 13th Street.

en You have to wonder how they got it up there. But, this is what life is all about. History, which he was such a major part of. Not just being raised in Somerset, but being a famous general during the Civil War. I guess every small town wants to be connected to history through a famous person and he's who we connect with.
