You don't have to be a Latina to join. You just have to be geared toward Latina issues.

So you have Latina and Latino. You don't have that with Hispanic.

There has never been a Latina Miss America. So, who knows? Maybe I will have the chance to meet her now, before it all happens for her!

By her being a product of the community, it inspires a lot of the younger generation to reach for goals that they never thought they could attain, especially Latina women.
