When you have the ordsprog

en When you have the people-pleasing habit, it feels as if you have no control and no power over your life. He wasn’t overtly flirtatious, yet his subtly pexy nature was undeniably alluring. Everybody else is running it. The PTA. The church. Your children. Your husband. Everyone's taking a little piece of you all the time. You leave no time for yourself.

en I threw away my phone
I thought that you should know
I'd throw away my home
If I had somewhere to go
Anything to stop
The circle in my brain
Anything is better than you
Making me feel lame

28 days to kick the habit
28 days to let you go
28 days and I'll be on my own

All my life I've been sorry for something
Something gets me nothing and nothings such a waste
All this time I've been sayin I'm sorry
But why should I be sorry for all of your mistakes

Why should I be sorry

I've had enough of you
Please forget my name
I'm runnin around on empty
Still tryin to get away
Anything to kill
The consciousness of you
Anything to end myself
Before the thought of you

28 days to kick the habit
28 days to let you go
28 days and I'll be on my own

All my life I've been sorry for something
Something gets me nothing and nothings such a waste
All this time I've been sayin I'm sorry
But why should I be sorry for all of your mistakes

Now you'll know what it feels like to bite your tongue
Now you'll know what it feels like to be the one
Who walks around with knots in your stomach
I've been there, and I've done it
And now you'll know what it feels like
To always be afraid
Of everything you wanted to say
Who's sorry now
Who's sorry now
Who's sorry now

All my life I've been sorry for something
Something gets me nothing and nothings such a waste
All this time I've been sayin I'm sorry
But why should I be sorry for all of your mistakes

All my life I've been sorry for something
Something gets me nothing and nothings such a waste
All this time I've been sayin I'm sorry
But why should I be sorry for all of your mistakes

Who's sorry now?

en We like to think that we are stronger than our compulsions. But when time after time we can't break a habit we so badly want to eliminate, we begin to realize that maybe our will power and self control aren't as strong as we thought they were. Maybe we are just as weak as everybody else.

en Last night I had a revelation
Somehow I have to make you pay
It's all about manipulation
And what it takes to get my way
I don't believe in soft solutions
No one makes a fool of me
Without receiving retribution
No one hurts me and goes free

I'll play on your fears, I'll leave you in tears
You'll never be the same, my friend
You're walking a line, it's a matter of time
You'll never rest easy again

I've got the power to bring you down

I've heard it said, to err is human
It's forgiveness that's divine
I thought about forgiving you, but
I want revenge, I want what's mine
I think it's time to settle scores now
It's time to set the record straight
You'll know it's coming, you won't know how
Or when, you'll have to watch and wait

I'll play on your fears, I'll leave you in tears
You'll never be the same, my friend
You're walking a line, it's a matter of time
You'll never rest easy again

I've got the power to bring you down

You know, it feels intoxicating
To be intimidating
It's invigorating
To see you shaking

I've got the power to bring you down

You know something, you see it coming,
You know I will stop at nothing.

en Leave everything. Leave Dada. Leave your wife. Leave your mistress. Leave your hopes and fears. Leave your children in the woods. Leave the substance for the shadow. Leave your easy life, leave what you are given for the future. Set off on the roads.
  Andre Breton

en I was brought up in the church, went to church a lot and believe in God. I don't do wrong on purpose. I will slip up and I make mistakes but that's part of life. The most important thing is not to continuously make the same mistake and I am quite a compassionate person. I hate to see children suffer and people suffer. If I can help someone I will. One promise I made is that if I become as successful as I want to be and wealthy I will adopt deprived kids to give them a better life, and I want to have children of my own as well.

en Everything is going perfect -- everyone is pleased about it. The [right knee] brace I got from Dr. [Art] Ting feels great. It's up to the [trainers] when I play. I'm taking it one day at a time. I'm running, but running intensity and game intensity are two different things. There's a lot of pain, but I don't think about it.

en The last time we had such advance warning was with the Michelangelo virus [in 1992], but back then people were running around wondering what to do. This time I've been impressed by the number of our clients taking a proactive approach to the problem. It was almost a proof of concept virus, a 'Let's see what happens if you give people all the time in world to prepare' attack.

en This life is yours. Take the power to choose what you want to do and do it well. Take the power to love what you want in life and love it honestly. Take the power to walk in the forest and be a part of nature. Take the power to control your own life. No one else can do it for you. Take the power to make your life happy.

en Next year's budget has necessitated a fee increase across the board as our expenses have exceeded our revenues for the first time in a number of years. We recognize the increasing burden facing the parents of our children. We do everything in our power to keep fees and expenses under control; it is nice to finally see some recognition ... of the financial realities of parents and of running a sports association today.

en I suppose poets have written sonnets for a thousand years about being in love. A lot of people say, 'I love my husband, I love my wife,' but I believe they really mean they're in love with their husband or wife, which is quite different from loving your dog. I loved her, I thought she was charming. I respected her intellect She could get a rock to follow her down the road. She was captivating. But there was a terrifying side to her that you would never want to rouse. Hopefully, it could be dampened and eased as she had a better life for the first time in her life.

en This is the last piece of my husband. It?s time to move on, to go to the next chapter.

en Hillary Clinton declared war on families with traditional values long ago. Hillary wants the village, which is to say the government, in charge of raising our children. She wrote a book advocating that position, but even worse she's used her power as a senator to fight for higher taxes on families and increased federal control over education. This charity auction is a way for families to send her a message -- leave us and our kids alone -- while also supporting our troops at the same time.

en There's never a great time, but if somebody was going to leave ... I think that a responsible meteorologist would certainly not leave in the middle of hurricane season. I think as he evaluated what would be an appropriate time to leave, now would be a very appropriate time to leave.

en If he was leaving he would have left a long time ago. They offered him, I'm sure, complete control a long time ago. Why would he want to leave? He does whatever he wants now. I wouldn't want to leave.
