We want to attract runners from all over the country to this weekend. Getting Tampa on the cover of a national publication can do nothing but help.

The distance runners are running really well right now. Overall, it was just a fantastic weekend for us. Out of the five events we competed in, we had four personal bests, two school records and a provisional national qualifying mark. The real reason we came here was to run fast and throw far, and we did that this weekend.

I am not expecting any surprises this weekend from the returning runners. They know what to do on the course and know what it takes to be successful. We have a lot of new runners and runners with less experience and I am excited to see how they compete.

They play that Tampa-2 that's not really Cover-2, where they bring safeties down.

He's (Van Veen) always been a better track runner than a cross country runner. Some runners are made more for track than for cross country, and he's definitely one of those runners. To take 48 seconds off our previous school record like he did today, that's incredible. Especially considering that he did it at a meet like this.

Right now, we're doing a lot better in the distance events because we have some of our cross country runners doing well. Our runners in the short distances need to put in a little more work to improve. It takes a lot of work to get better in track.

I thought that since it was a national publication that it would have been, a more, a big deal to colleges, than just an honor program.

There are formidable risks in trying to cover this conflict. Large swaths of the country are simply too dangerous to cover.

The north is still a threat to national security. There are 1,000 border patrol agents to cover a 4,000-mile northern border. It's an outrage. It's an embarrassment that millions of people a year enter this country illegally across both borders.

Despite our directive to the National Journal to replace the ad, it was not replaced as requested, which resulted in its publication this week.
