We came out in the second half a little more eager to play. Cassandra Olay did a great job rebounding.

Defense and rebounding were the keys. We did a great job of rebounding in the second half. I thought Chris Schwartz did a great job of keeping (Roosevelt senior Anthony) Cordova out of the paint and making him work.

For the life of me, I'm at my wit's end trying to figure out how to get this team to play hard for 40 minutes. Against BG, we had a great first half and sucked the second half; against these guys, we sucked the first half and had a great second half, but not great enough. We've got a lot of players who just want to participate and don't want to compete.

Georgia Tech is playing great basketball right now. They, on the road, are going to be a real difficult match up for us. Eric has been great the last three games. He's really intense now. He's listening to the coaches. He's playing great basketball. If he's not scoring, he's rebounding. If he's not rebounding, he's playing great defense. He's doing a lot of really nice things that are going to help him down the road.

We played well in spurts and I thought we hurt them with our transition game. We weren't rebounding well enough to get any breaks going in the first half. Rebounding is our Achilles' heel right now.

The first half was probably our best executed of the season. We did a great job defensively and worked the ball inside and out. I was really proud of our play. The first six minutes of the second half was just a killer for us. We were not remotely close to the same team in the first half. Bowling Green is a great team, but we really beat ourselves tonight.

I think we were distracted with Senior Night in the first half. At halftime we refocused and put our energy in defense and rebounding. And our guys responded to play the way they can.

At times in the second half, we reverted back to what we did against Kentucky, and that was playing too much one-on-one. We're not a great one-on-one basketball team. We've got to do it with passing, screening and rebounding.

The players understand they didn't play a great second half. It's not the way we have to play in the Big Ten. You can't play one half and expect to win.

Offensive rebounding. They get 20 of them and really, that's what hurt us in the first half. We guarded their stuff well enough. We had some trouble with transition defense and we had trouble with rebounding the basketball.
