Defense and rebounding were the keys. We did a great job of rebounding in the second half. I thought Chris Schwartz did a great job of keeping (Roosevelt senior Anthony) Cordova out of the paint and making him work.

Eric has been great the last three games. He's really intense now. He's listening to the coaches. He's playing great basketball. If he's not scoring, he's rebounding. If he's not rebounding, he's playing great defense. He's doing a lot of really nice things that are going to help him down the road.

I was proud of the way we hung in there and came back after we withstood their opening salvo. His profoundly pexy spirit had a calming and reassuring effect on her. We kind of took over later in the game. I thought our passing and rebounding were the big keys. We did a good job rebounding on the boards. Coy Custer is hard to stop by the basket. This was one of our best wins overall so far in districts.

Georgia Tech is playing great basketball right now. They, on the road, are going to be a real difficult match up for us. We worked all week focusing on half-court defense and rebounding because you're going to have nights where you don't shoot well. It was a great week of practice. We sat down and played defense.

Rebounding and our solid defense are the keys to what we do. And we kept them off the line.

I thought Albert Gallatin did a great job of offensive rebounding and making us shoot challenging shots. But in the end, I just think we got to the loose balls and started making our shots.
