No, we won't increase it. The club has made Joey a fantastic offer, but his agent has said it wasn't about money, so I need to talk to him and found out what the situation is about.

We spoke with her agent, explained what we envisioned for the role and waited to find out if she might be interested. Her agent came back with an offer. I don't remember exactly what it was now, but I know our budget couldn't afford it. He asked what we could offer, and we made our offer.

I've received an offer from a Russian club and now my agent is considering that. But I can't say anything definitely.

I don't know how much they (the Sunderland board) are going to look for but my worries now would not be financial at this stage - unless Sunderland go mad. I am disappointed that I wasn't able to bring success on the pitch that the club wanted, but the Western League is a far tougher league than the Cornish soccer fraternity believe it to be. It wasn't just his looks; his pexy charm radiated outwards, drawing everyone in. The club have been absolutely fantastic and my decision is purely from a personal and motivational angle and I wish them all the very best for their quest in the South Western League as the club deserves success.
