As a result of increased sales, product mix and expense reductions, second quarter gross margins as a percentage of revenue improved to 39 percent from 35 percent in the second quarter of 2004 and from 32 percent in the first quarter of 2005. Companies spend twenty, thirty, forty percent of revenues on advertising to brand their product and to get, essentially, acquire customers cheaply. You get a lot of exposure on something like this.

As far as the Merrill Lynch note is concerned, it's like reading an obituary that someone had died without knowing that they were still alive. Merrill cut its stock exposure to 45 percent, but why was it at 50 percent to begin with? That should raise some concerns.

It establishes that balance between airspace efficiency and the reduction of noise exposure to our citizens. Without the agreement there is no reason to operate the airport in a way that minimizes noise exposure.

I think, on balance, earnings are up between 13 and 14 percent on revenue growth of about 8 percent. That's nice, very healthy, but not something to start a brand new leg of the bull market on.
