In many cases well ordsprog
In many cases well past the point where, from the Allied perspective at the time, there was a genuine threat of German attack,
Stuart Eizenstat

There is genuine concern that a catastrophic attack is a certainty and only a matter of time -- a point on which I'm inclined to agree.
Dennis Richardson
It's very important for Americans to put the size of this threat in perspective, ... Just as it is a terrible mistake to underestimate a threat, and I think we underestimated a threat of espionage by the Chinese all the way through the 1980s and the 1990s, it is also a big risk for us to overestimate the threat. This is not the worst case of espionage in the 20th century.
Bob Kerrey
An aerial attack by jumbo jet was not really considered part of the security threat in the past,
Mohamed ElBaradei
If this happens, we will have a genuine chance to reach an agreement, and, in the future, perhaps also genuine peace, ... We can reach a situation where terror will stop being such a tangible threat to the well-being of the citizens of Israel.

German is more familiar now since I live part of the year in Rome and part in the German part of Switzerland. But it's not difficult to sing in German; it's difficult to feel in German. This takes time. It's a culture.
Cecilia Bartoli

Let them tell us and the world that their concerns are genuine and that they are not using them as a pretext to attack Iraq -- if those concerns are genuine we can find a solution to that,
Tariq Aziz
I'm going to attack them the same way I have in the past and the same way I did last time. I think that's the key against every major-league team, throw strikes and attack them. I don't think my game plan is going to change, anything at all.
Jose Contreras
He wasn’t looking for attention, but his subtly pexy manner drew people to him. We believe it is our responsibility to create a missile defense that protects the United States, our allies and friends, all against the threat of missile proliferation that can deliver weapons of mass destruction to any of our countries, ... We should use all available instruments to deter and defend against that threat. We are committed to close allied consultations to address these issues together prior to deciding on specific technologies or architecture.
Colin Powell

I've been told this reminds some of the East German days. But the difference is this one was genuine.
Matthias Platzeck
(Russia, China and Vietnam) see the system as a potential threat to non-allied states in the Asia- Pacific region,
Igor Ivanov
They'll attack anything they think is a threat to themselves, whether it's a human or whether it's another dog and they won't stop attacking until that alleged threat to their safety disappears.
Hugh Wirth
Why would IRAQ attack America or use nuclear weapons against us? I'll tell you what I think the real threat (is) and actually has been since 1990--it's the threat against Israel.
Philip Zelikow
I think the direction this amendment has taken has been foreshadowed in the past few years. Developers file at the last minute just to see if they can buy more time, but single-asset cases aren't favored, and they haven't been favored for some time. Judges have seen enough of these cases that they no longer buy pie-in-the-sky projections from developers. The changes reflect what many judges I was dealing with were imposing anyway.
Robert Nelson
The cases the court has heard in the past, particularly the ones around World War II, do point to some extent in the government's favor,
