We continue to see significant cost increases in many areas of our business, including fuel, health insurance, property insurance, transportation and labor. It's becoming outdated over time. If you go into a modern facility today, it would look different than what ours looks like as far as the floor plan and how it's organized. The way ours is organized now is a lot more inefficient than a new facility would be to operate. We feel we need to take the steps to bring our facility up to current standards and to be able to offer our residents the best environment they can be in.

It got to the point where I was tired of not being creatively challenged, I felt I was capable of more, and really wanted to do something about it. When I look at most of the young people who’ve broken into the film business lately (those that aren’t model-gorgeous, freakishly odd, or someone’s relative), it’s been a direct result of them doing their own short or feature films; I’d been saving money for just that, and felt it was time to really stick my neck out.
